Target Group: This Linux course is designed for users with basic knowledge of Linux. The course focuses on Shell programming and administration skills.

Content: Shell programming is one of the most powerful feature in Linux. Shell scripts can greatly simplify the life of a software developper and above all of a system administrator.

  • Linux Utilities ("Power Tools"): sed, awk, sort, head, tail, and many more
  • Streams, Pipes and Redirection
  • Writing and Using Shell Scripts: Particpants learn to create shell scripts, which simplify both system administration and other tasks.

  • Linux Security Issues
